Boston Harbor Islands

This collection of images was taken on the Boston Harbor Islands, mainly Lovells Island and Deer Island. It includes lesser known angles of the Boston skyline, as well as Boston Light and Graves Light. It also incorporates many images of decayed piers, historic remnants found along the shores of Boston Harbor.

The entire Boston skyline seen over Boston Harbor and Logan Airport in late April 2019, from the highest point of Deer Island in the Boston Harbor Islands. On an otherwise clear morning, storm clouds rolling in from the west got illuminated pink during sunrise, while the Boston skyline got bathed in golden light. The angle of the light was just right to coax a beautiful blue from the water.
