Boston Skyline and Bridges
Zakim Bridge spans Charles River under Blue Sky and Clouds from North Point Park East Cambridge MA
I got this same shot on two different days last week. The results from my first trip were pretty cool and I got some good results, but I wasn’t really that happy with the sky and my focal length was too long. The wind was also gusting so hard I couldn’t push my exposure out as long as I wanted. So I scrapped the session, and waited for a day with better clouds to get it right. That day came pretty quick, but the conditions looked to become fleeting. Luckily I was able to get through nightmare traffic and catch a fresh batch of clouds at the crux. In a rush, this was my first exposure that I let rip without calculating the exposure length.
