Boston Skyline and Bridges

These are photos of the Boston skyline and surrounding bridges from a variety of vantage points including Cambridge, East Boston, South Boston, Chelsea, Everett, and Malden. I turned the ordinary into a dreamlike reality with very long exposures, using LEE Filters to control the light entering the lens.

Sunrise over Zakim Bridge and Charles River Locks in Boston Massachusetts

In the initial sunrise before this frame the entire sky was orange and pink. I got some frames during that color, but the after burn was much better as some blue sky opened up giving nice color contrast.

This was a 4 min exposure with LEE Filters Big Stopper (10-stop) and Very-Hard Edge 1.2 GND (4-stop).
