Boston Skyline and Bridges
Extreme Long Exposure Cloud Movement at Sunrise over Boston Skyline, MIT Sailing Pavilion, and Charles River - Cambridge Massachusetts USA
We had some serious rain storms the day before I took this exposure, so naturally I was on this one, always some killer clouds as the remaining storm clears to the ocean. I got there during the blue hour and took a bunch of very long exposures, and almost left early thinking the sunrise was going to be a dud, but I remembered that usually the best color is approximately 15-20 minutes after sunrise. So I stuck around, and just like that about 15 minutes after sunrise the clouds lit up. It was only a few degrees above freezing, which is so ideal for long exposures, because the colder the sensor the cleaner the image.
