Boston Skyline and Bridges
Tobin Bridge spans Mystic River into Boston in Golden Light at Sunset, Chelsea Massachusetts USA
I was driving home on Route One and the conditions were looking really nice. I thought of this angle, which I had been planning to reshoot for some time, but I didn’t think I had time to make it down there before sunset. I almost didn’t take the last exit before the bridge, but at the last minute I swung into and decided to go for it. In a hurry, I battled traffic down to Mary O’Malley Park and practically jumped out of the car while it was still moving. Started sprinting from there down the shore while judging the best angle. Slapped the gear together and threw on the filters just in time to get this exposure with peak lighting. At the end of the exposure the sun fully dipped and the light disappeared, so I ended up being in and out in less than 15 minutes. This is pretty much straight out of the camera with just some minor tweaks.
