Boston Skyline and Bridges
Boston Skyline Sunrise over Charles River and Snow Covered Boats from Cambridge Massachusetts USA
One thing I love about photographing Boston is that all the usual spots present unique opportunities as the seasons change. This image is a great example, with a warmup in winter the Charles River was all water and no ice. But, there was still snow encrusted boats at the MIT Sailing Pavilion. An incredibly unique combination that I took advantage of with great sunrise light. I only had one chance at this 7 min exposure with the following optical filters controlling light entering the lens.
LEE Filters “Big Stopper” 3.0ND (10-Stop) 100x100mm
LEE Filters 0.9 Hard-Edge Graduated ND (3-Stop) 100x150mm
