Cumulous Clouds over Winthrop Beach Waves Abstract

On a beautiful spring day, a nice set was rolling in, so I created this ocean abstract from Winthrop Beach, near the base of Winthrop Head (Cottage Hill). I combined pan motion at 100mm and a 2 second shutter speed to create the blurred waves, by utilizing a 10-stop neutral density filter to extend the shutter length in the bright light. I shot the clouds with no filter at the same focal length, and combined the two in post process.
