Graves Lighthouse from Winthrop Beach Massachusetts at Sunrise

On a beautiful and calm spring morning I viewed Graves Light just after sunrise from Winthrop Beach, near the base of Winthrop Head (Cottage Hill). I mixed three photographs of the same scene taken within a short time of each other, just with different technical executions. The sky is a relatively short long exposure at 800mm with a 10-stop filter, the lighthouse is a fast shutter speed to retain detail at 800mm with no filter, and the bottom is a panned long exposure at a slightly wider angle with a 10-stop filter. The resulting image maximizes every aspect of the scene, and captures the real experience of being there that morning.
