Dory Boat Daisy Chain on Merrimack River with Sea Smoke at Lowell’s Boat Shop Amesbury Massachusetts

The quintessential New England dory boat scene can be found along the Merrimack River in Amesbury Massachusetts, where Lowell’s Boat Shop has been keeping the time honored tradition of building boats for over 200 years. I was lucky enough to see these dory boats moored into a daisy chain out on the Merrimack River with heavy sea smoke one morning in May 2015.
