Yirrell Beach and Cottage Hill in Winthrop Massachusetts with Cloudy Blue Sky

Winthrop Head, also known as Cottage Hill, with its prominent water tower, is seen on a late morning in early April 2017, looking over Yirrell Beach from the base of Deer Island in the Boston Harbor Islands. The rough surf of the retreating tide was paired with cloudy blue sky and warm light, which radiated through the turquoise colored water commonly seen in this area.
